For materials that have been billed for replacement, and are subsequently returned to the library, the amount of the replacement and processing fee will be credited to the student’s account the week after it is returned. The student is held responsible for the overdue fine and the non-refundable billing fee.

You can find our complete policy on fines for students at http://www.bates.edu/library/access/students/. Policies for faculty and staff can be found at http://www.bates.edu/library/access/facstaff/.
