The easiest way to access a journal article is to go to the library home page, click on LibrarySearch+, click on the Articles Only button, and paste in the title of the article you need. It often works best with just the journal article title, not including the author or the rest of a citation.

This will tell you if we subscribe to the journal and give a link to the full text if we do. If we don't, check the "Add Results Beyond Bates" box, find the article, and request via Interlibrary Loan.

But, if you have any trouble finding the article you need, please don't hesitate to stop by the Research Desk in Ladd Library, or send us an email at researchlibrarians@bates.edu.
