If your LibrarySearch result indicates the book you want is checked out, select the "Check for request options" link to see the options available for requesting the book from one of our partner libraries. Note that you might be directed to sign in with your Bates username and password to access these options.
After signing in, you will be presented with up to three different options for requesting the book. If you are given more than one option, your preferred requesting order is:
CBB Request
MaineCat
Interlibrary Loan (ILL)
Request your book using only one of these options.
Note that you will receive books from a CBB request sooner and have the books longer than you would from a MaineCat request. Likewise, you will receive a MaineCat book sooner and have it longer that you would from an ILL request.
